I’m starting to think they should rename MTV’s ‘Jersey Shore’ to ‘The Sammi and Ronnie Show’ because that’s who the main focus has been on since the second season started.
However, last night’s show had another housemate getting into an argument with a significant other. Snooki and her boyfriend, Emilio, get into it over the phone and he ends up hanging up on her. As a result of her current dislike for him and the entire male species, she makes the comment, “That’s why the lesbian rate is going up in this country.” Yeah, Snooks, that’s the reason.
Sammi asks Snooki and Jenni about Ronnie and if they know anything about what he may be doing behind her back. They act like they don’t know anything, and she lets them know that if they didn’t tell her something they knew she would be very upset. In the meantime we see Ronnie dancing it up with girls at the club. I don’t understand why Sammi needs validation from the other housemates when common sense would tell her what Ronnie was doing at the clubs, and it’s not offering his bartending services.
Emilio ends up calling Snooki back and telling her he slept with another girl. She obviously becomes enraged, and then he laughs and says that he was just kidding. She angrily hangs up the phone. When he calls back, Jenni answers and he thinks he’s talking to a voicemail. I still can’t stop laughing about the guy who called for Angelina a few episodes back and Snooki told her she was dead. Then when he calls back, Angelina picks up and he asks, “Angelina’s dead?” That was hilarious, but Emilio may have topped the cake. He and the guy who called for Angelina should get a show called, ‘The Funniest and Stupidest Things to Say Over the Phone’. He calls again and this time Jenni has some fun with him and pretends like she is a voicemail recording. She then tells him off and hangs up on him. A plate is then broken in celebration to, I guess, symbolize the breaking up of another relationship.
The guys, plus Angelina, finally get home from the club at six o’clock in the morning. Sammi goes into the bedroom to talk to Ronnie who is laying across the bed. She’s mad because he went out, and he says she told him it was okay. She explains that it was a test, which he obviously failed. She starts crying (again) and says she is done and is over him. If her past history of saying these words in any indication as to if she really means it or not, we know that she’ll end up right back in his arms in a matter of hours.
Everyone sits down to a dinner that Mike prepared that had way too many spills while he fixed it, and Angelina says something about Ronnie dancing with a blonde girl at the club. He motions to her to shut her mouth, and Sammi just sits there looking upset but not saying anything. After dinner they all decide to play a game in which questions are written down and placed in a bowl. The girls get dressed up for this game (not sure why) and a question about ever cheating on a boyfriend/girlfriend comes up. Ronnie first quickly answers, “No” but then changes it and says, “Yeah.” Sammi still looks upset, confused, and whatever else she says she feels regarding Ronnie. After the game, Ronnie asks Sammi if she wants to go to bed with him, and then he lays next to her in the living room. She’s still acting confused, and at this point I’m officially through with Sammi and she deserves whatever she gets.
While out to eat, Snooki, Jenni, and Angelina discuss the Sammi/Ronnie situation. Jenni comes up with the idea to write an anonymous letter to Sammi, which would detail everything Ronnie has done while at the clubs.
Later that night, they all head out to the club and surprise, surprise: Ronnie and Sammi are fighting. Sammi says she wants to leave and comments that in her head she wants to move on, but in her heart she doesn’t. Well, her head needs to have a long talk with her heart so she can finally come to her senses.
Everyone except Ronnie leaves the club, but Sammi decides to go back to tell Ronnie she’s leaving. This girl is ridiculous! Ronnie walks out of the club and into a cab. Sammi goes up to the cab and bangs on the window, but Ronnie tells the cab driver to go and they pull off. Sammi is left standing in a cloud of exhaust smoke, and a wind of stupidity.
The gang end up going to the b.e.d. club, and Ronnie arrives right after them. He is wasted and spends his time hanging on Sammi, telling her he doesn’t need her, he hates her, but he loves her.
They all go home and Ronnie is literally fall-on-the-floor drunk. He takes a big spill out of his bed and falls hard onto the floor. He spends time in the bathroom continuously throwing up. After he sobers up a little, he sits on the couch with Sammi and she reminds him of what happened throughout the night. They say they love each other, then joke and play around. This roller-coastr romance needs to come to a stop because I’m feeling very nauseous.
Jenni and Snooki finally decide to put their anonymous letter idea into play and go to a cyber-cafe’ to compose it. While they are doing this, Sammi is having a discussion with Angelina and asks her if she knows anything about Ronnie and how she’s cutting the girls off as friends if they keep information from her. Yeah, just like she vowed to cut Ronnie off all those times. I’m not buying it.
The show ends before we see Snooki and Jenni hiding the letter for Sammi to find. I wish they would either give her the letter or come right out and tell her already. However, this is Sammi we’re talking about, so I’m pretty sure no matter what she finds out, she’ll end up right back in Ronnie’s big arms again. Until next week, folks!
